Sofina Foods is looking for an experienced and motivated Butchery Supervisor to play a pivotal role in managing daily butchery operations while inspiring and guiding a talented team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled butcher ready to advance into a leadership role, focusing on quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of meat cuts to meet both company and customer standards
- Set up and maintain the butchery counter with precision and attention to quality
- Serve and advise customers with professionalism and a helpful approach
- Manage stock rotation, deliveries, and related documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
- Support and train team members, fostering a positive and results-focused culture
- Assist with product sampling, promotions, and visual merchandising
- Step in to support the Store or Site Manager as needed
- Use basic IT systems to efficiently manage operational tasks
Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on leader with strong butchery skills and a passion for customer service.
- Strong experience in butchery, ideally in retail or food production
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and legal standards
- Excellent customer service and people skills
