Purpose:
To guarantee raw materials and parent reels unloading, storage and handling in compliance with work instructions and safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork.
- Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork.
- Run quality check of all incoming goods.
- Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay.
- Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed.
- Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
- Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation.
- Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults.
- Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions.
- Carry out periodic stocktaking activities.
- Guarantee the warehouse space optimization.
- Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required.
- Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams.
- Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need.
- Ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift.
- Ensure health & safety rules are adhered to.
Ideal Candidate:
- RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in-house is accepted.
- Experience in warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Works well in a team and individually.
