THE ROLE

We are world leaders in what we do, and we are currently looking for a driven leader with a passion for operational excellence to join us at our Rothley plant.

You will be working at the end of the production line with the finished products to ensure efficient and smooth dispatch procedures.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading warehouse operations on shift, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective management of people, inventory, and material flow.

You will support the Warehouse Manager in achieving operational objectives while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader who can motivate teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse operatives and forklift truck drivers.
  • Ensure the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of finished goods and raw materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control, stock integrity and coordinate loading and unloading.
  • Ensure operational priorities are achieved in line with customer requirements while maintaining compliance with internal procedures.
  • Monitor warehouse performance against KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular team briefings and shift handovers.
  • Manage employee’s attendance, performance and productivity and support recruitment, training and employee development.
  • Manage employee relations in line with company policies when required.
  • Work closely with departments and ensure professionalism with colleagues, customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure conformity with company health & safety procedures and regulations and conduct inspections, audits and risk assessments.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions.

SKILLS

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective, clear and open communication skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications. Desirable to also have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (e. g. SAP).
  • Encourage new ideas and have good problem‑solving abilities.
  • Be able to identify operational improvements within projects and highlight opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar positions.
  • Experience working within a fast‑paced warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control.
  • WORKING HOURS
  • Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours
