Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d)

What the job is about

As a Business Analyst, you are the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, transforming customer goals and challenges into structured business and functional requirements. Your role spans the full lifecycle of projects, from preparation and design to delivery and post‑go‑live support, ensuring solutions align with stakeholder expectations and industry standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Business Process Analysis and Design: mapping and analyzing current business processes, designing future‑state processes, developing and maintaining process models, and proposing process improvements while assessing their organizational and technical impact.
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: identifying, analysing and translating stakeholder needs into structured requirements, conducting workshops to refine and validate requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, documenting user stories, and assisting Product Owners in prioritising the backlog.
• Project Implementation and Support: supporting solution delivery through validation of functional analyses, enhancement requests, and ticket resolutions, participating in scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, communicating project progress and changes to stakeholders, refining requirements, assigning tasks, and preparing solution handovers.
• Product‑Specific Context: ensuring detailed documentation of product requirements, acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to maintain alignment, monitoring evolving business needs and anticipating their impact.
• Business Analysis: identifying, analysing, understanding and describing the needs and expectations of customers and the business, preparing enhancement requests from a business perspective, interacting with end users and SMEs in requirement definition, refinement and validation, supporting the customer in validating functional analysis, change requests and managing handovers.

You are analytical, detail‑oriented and excel at translating complex business needs into actionable solutions. Your proactive approach ensures that processes and systems are efficient, aligned with industry trends and scalable for future needs.

What else is expected

• Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in a tech‑driven or software development environment.
• Experience in business process modelling, requirement elicitation and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience participating in Scrum ceremonies.
• Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain alignment across stakeholders.
• Experience with tools for process modelling, requirement tracking and project management (e.g., Jira).
