commercial data scientists, my client have grown into Europe’s leading applied AI company. Their
expertise in AI safety is so top-notch that OpenAI tapped them as their first-ever technical partner.

The Role
The Principal Product Designer role is perfect for someone ready to lead with design and make a
massive impact. Reporting to the VP of Product, this role involves heading up the design vision for
the companies cutting edge, AI platform, embedding a design-first mindset across the company and
crafting a design system that sets the tone for product development. Whether it’s technical
personas or non-techy folks, the Principal Product Designer will ensure the platform delivers user-
friendly solutions for everyone.
Beyond shaping the design strategy, this role also involves leading a team of designers, providing
direction, mentorship, and a supportive space for creativity to flourish. Think of it as being the Yoda
of the design world, guiding the team to greatness while driving an entire design culture shift across
the business
What You’ll Be Doing
- Crafting and communicating the design vision and strategy for the platform, while ensuring creativity and quality stay sky-high.
- Building and mentoring a top-notch design team, and helping them level up their skills.
- Leading the charge in creating UI/UX elements, illustrations, and visual assets that are both stunning and functional.
- Collaborating closely with product squads to weave design seamlessly into the development process.
- Being the voice for user-centric design and ensuring products are built around real personas and user feedback.
- Staying plugged into industry trends, always on the lookout for new ways to experiment and innovate.
- Jumping in to help with sales assets that highlight the platform’s value.
