Leads the brands’ strategy and market implementation for a £100m portfolio of multiple brands and management of a c. £7m marketing budget. Develops and implements a clear vision and long-term strategy which contributes to company success. Oversees the development, implementation and effectiveness of media, activation, shopper, PR and e-commerce plans. Manages business performance through relevant analysis and recommendations to drive profitable growth. Ensures portfolio, products, packaging and price are optimised based on market trends and customer needs. Shapes and sets standards, KPIs, processes and then drives success through compliance and accountability. Stays ahead of consumer trends and competitor activity and uses consumer and shopper insights to identify innovation opportunities on existing products as well as new lines or categories. Influences global team to ensure innovation pipeline is appropriate to UK needs. Regularly shares knowledge, experience and best practice with international teams to help grow the Yoplait business around the world. Works closely with the Director of Sales and Category to ensure marketing plans align with promotional and customer plans. Plays an active role in business wide leadership initiatives as part of the UK leadership team. Works closely with cross functional colleagues to shape the organization and role model the right behaviours. Takes the lead on commercial and cultural projects that will create a positive impact on business environment and performance. Inspires, motivates and directly manages a large team to create a high performing team.
Position Criteria
- Significant consumer marketing experience with leading FMCG or other consumer goods companies
- Experience of developing and delivering long term growth strategies
- Strong understanding of the broad spectrum of P
- Strong evidence of using insight to develop effective plans and consumer propositions
- Results oriented with a strategic mindset
- Significant people management and team leadership experience; proven to inspire and develop highly effective teams
- Proactive and motivated demeanour
- Entrepreneurial spirit and resistance; ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, changing environment
