Main Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems in line with legal, audit, and prison service requirements.

Provide comprehensive administrative support to managers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.

Produce management information, reports, and workforce data, identifying trends where required.

Support workforce planning activities, including staff detailing, absence monitoring, leave management, and operational cover.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to support the safe and smooth running of the prison.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate
-
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a similar or regulated environment.
-
Confident using IT systems and administrative software to manage data and reports.

Able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.

Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.

Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working as part of a team.
-
Desirable: Experience within health, social care, voluntary sectors, or knowledge of the English legal system.
