As a Retail Catering Assistant at Sodexo inBassetlaw Hospital, you’ll play an important part in preparing and servingnutritious, comforting meals that support patient recovery and wellbeing .You’ll also help maintain a clean, safe environment in the kitchen and diningareas. Whatyou’ll do:

• Prepare and serve food to high standards, ensuring all dietary requirements are met for staff and visitors.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards, including washing up, equipment cleaning, and safe food handling.
• Operate industrial catering equipment safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
• Manage food storage and stock control, including stock rotation, temperature monitoring, decanting, and labelling.
• Support the wider catering and retail team by undertaking additional duties, completing mandatory training, and assisting with business needs as required.
