We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Facilities Operator to join our team with Sodexo with a strong eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build effective relationships at all levels. The successful candidate will be a forward thinker with a methodical approach, excellent planning and organisational skills, and the confidence to challenge and improve service delivery within the facilities environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing visible, professional, and relationship-focused service across all levels.
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience by taking ownership of the allocated building and ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, environmental, and site procedures, including SHE/GxP and safe systems of work.
- Monitor and maintain facilities services including catering areas, consumables, stationery hubs, and multifunctional devices, ensuring timely restocking.
- Report faults, basic maintenance issues, and service concerns to relevant partners, supporting quick and effective resolution.
- Work as part of a multi-skilled business support team, using initiative, IT systems, and strong attention to detail to support daily operations and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service experience with the ability to act as the first point of contact in a professional environment.
- Proven ability to build positive relationships and deliver a high standard of service across all levels.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and environmental compliance, with the ability to follow site procedures (SHE/GxP desirable).
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining facilities services such as catering areas, consumables, and stationery supplies.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and report faults or maintenance issues effectively.
- Proactive team player with good IT skills, able to work independently and support a multi-skilled operational team.
