Build a name with big-brand businesses and corporate clients, delivering high-quality nutritious meals for boardroom lunches, executive events, and daily workplace dining.This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced, trend-setting, client-focused environment.

What you\’ll do:

  • Ensure all customers receive high-quality service through continuous product and service improvements
  • Seek customer feedback regularly to identify opportunities for lounge product development
  • Present all food and beverages, maintaining consistent quality, quantity, and display standards
  • Monitor and replenish buffet and stock levels in accordance with food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • Provide training and guidance to service staff on food presentation and display techniques
  • Maintain personal hygiene, food hygiene, and housekeeping standards in lounge and kitchen areas as per company policy
  • Ensure timely completion of all food orders to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Clean and prepare the kitchen for each shift, ensuring proper hygiene and readiness
  • Keep back-of-house areas, including fridges and storerooms, clean and organized at all times
  • Ensure proper stock rotation, date coding, and labelling of all products using shelf-life principles
  • Prepare for upcoming shifts by completing necessary food preparation tasks
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and communicate insights to management
  • Liaise with senior team members regarding operational issues and irregularities
  • Adhere to standard recipes, food specifications, plating standards, and knowledge protocols

What you\’ll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Chefin a high volume setting
  • Professional cookery or culinary qualifications- NVQ culinary or equivalent
  • Health and Safety Level 3 is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
  • Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
