Join Sodexo as a Weekend Cook within our National Probation Service Approved Premises in Liverpool.

In this lone-working role, you'll prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for residents and staff, helping to create a safe, welcoming environment.

You'll take ownership of all food preparation during weekend shifts, ensuring meals are delivered to a high standard in line with food safety requirements.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, supporting individuals as they transition back into the community while working in a meaningful residential setting.

What you'll do

Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Deliver excellent food service while consistently maintaining high standards.

Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and EHO regulations at all times.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in line with best practice standards.

What you bring

Previous experience as a cook or chef within a catering, hospitality, or food service environment.

Relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (desirable).

Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards, with IOSH qualification desirable.

Passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering quality meals.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
