In this hands‑on role, you\’ll help ensure all waste materials are collected, sorted, and disposed of safely and efficiently – helping us deliver on our commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management.

What you\’ll do:

  • Collect general, plastic, and cardboard waste from designated site areas
  • Transport and load cardboard pallets to recycling areas and trailers
  • Ensure waste is correctly segregated, baled, compacted, packaged, and stored in line with regulations
  • Coordinate waste removals with suppliers and complete all required documentation
  • Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Work safely and proactively to support Sodexo\’s environmental and HSE standards

What you\’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment (waste or facilities) preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
  • A current FLT licence (essential)
  • Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) best practices
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude and pride in keeping things running smoothly
