The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 Β£ per hour.

Part time 9 hours per week Saturday & Sunday 07:00am - 11:30am, Β£15.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

  • Prepare, present and serve food and beverages, helping to deliver a friendly and professional catering service.
  • Welcome and serve customers, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
  • Operate the till and process customer transactions accurately when required.
  • Support hospitality services, including preparing, setting up and delivering refreshments for meetings and events.
  • Keep food counters well stocked, clean and attractively presented throughout service.
  • Refill and maintain vending machines, ensuring products are available and correctly rotated.
  • Support stock rotation, ordering and stock takes to help minimise waste and maintain availability.
  • Keep kitchen equipment, utensils, dining areas and service areas clean, hygienic and well presented.
  • Follow all Food Safety, Health & Safety, hygiene and COSHH procedures at all times.
  • Report customer feedback, equipment faults, maintenance issues and any incidents promptly.
  • Support occasional functions, events and additional catering requirements.
  • Work flexibly with the wider catering team, including providing additional cover during holidays and sickness when required.
  • Complete all required training and attend team meetings to continually develop your skills and knowledge.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience within catering, hospitality, food service, retail or customer service is desirable.
  • A friendly and approachable manner with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A reliable, flexible and organised approach to work.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also using your own initiative.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • An understanding of food hygiene, Health & Safety and safe working practices.
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced catering environment.
  • A Food Safety Certificate would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
  • Flexibility to support different areas of the catering operation when required.
