As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities, spending about 50% of time in a hands-on role and the rest on supervisory and quality tasks.
- Ensure timely completion of Job Request forms and required Permits for all works.
- Monitor and optimize plant performance through effective maintenance systems.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and provide recommendations for appointments.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and promote safe working practices.
- Support the General Services Manager and client with technical and professional expertise.
What we’re looking for:
- C&G lvl 3 (2365) or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Preferably 10 years (minimum of 5 years) experience in building services and plant engineering, five years as a maintenance craftsman, preferably within an engineering role.
- Previous appointment as Authorised Person for one or more of the following disciplines: LV, Mechanical Services, Confined Spaces, Boiler and Pressure Systems.
- Experience of Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM).
- Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
- Numerate and computer literate.
- Driving License required
