Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI) has been at the heart of Manchester's healthcare system since 1752, evolving from a 12-bed facility near Withy Grove to its established home on Oxford Road, officially opened by King Edward VII in 1909. Now part of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, MRI treats hundreds of thousands of patients each year and provides specialist services in trauma, transplants, haematology and more.
At this major acute hospital, Sodexo delivers both Hard and Soft Facilities Management services, providing essential non-clinical support that keeps the site safe, compliant and fully operational. Our Hard FM teams ensure that the engineering infrastructure - electrical, mechanical, HVAC and critical systems - performs reliably every single day so clinical teams can focus on outstanding patient care.
We are now recruiting talented engineers across multiple disciplines to join our expanding Estates and Facilities team at the Oxford Road Campus.

- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs on complex plant, equipment, ventilation systems and controls
