Job Description:
We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across public areas and specified accommodation areas.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain a clean, tidy and professional environment at all times.
- Clean and maintain public areas and accommodation areas to the required standard.
- Complete periodic bedroom and toilet cleaning as required.
- Service rooms following customer departure and complete room inventories.
- Report any damage, defects or maintenance issues promptly to the Manager.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Report any defective cleaning equipment or materials required.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist colleagues and the Housekeeper with other departmental duties when required.
- Maintain a professional approach when interacting with customers, colleagues and management.
What You Bring:
- Have previous cleaning experience, preferably within a similar environment.
- Have a good understanding of cleaning procedures and standards.
- Be familiar with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Have an understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements.
- Be reliable, organised and able to work to set schedules and deadlines.
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Be willing to work as part of a team and assist with additional duties when required.
