We are recruiting a Technical Director for the Justice segment – a senior leadership role accountable for ensuring full technical compliance, robust asset management, and high‑quality FM delivery across a complex portfolio of PFI and public‑sector Justice contracts.
Responsibilities
- Deploy regional policy/procedures
- Analyse business process and performance
- Develop segment technical services and asset management strategy
- Lead activities and project management and lifecycle activities
- Provide mentorship
- Provide technical services and asset management support to the Sales function, mobilisations and closures
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Significant cross‑sector exposure (including PPP/PFI) at strategic and operational levels and multi‑million budget experience
- Proven track record in customer relationship and financial management – Justice Moj experience preferable
- Quantifiable experience controlling multi‑site Total Facility Management and Capital Projects involving hard and soft services
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer from a relevant discipline and membership of associated professional bodies
- Excellent commercial and negotiating skills with strong contractual understanding and experience managing change through direct delivery, strategic outsourcing and partnering with specialist service providers
- Strong track record in business development including mobilisation, dealing with sub‑contractors and supply chain in complex multi‑faced operations
- Ability to diagnose/analyses complex commercial and technical situations and provide the government Executive Board with accurate, concise advice
- Demonstrable operational understanding of facilities maintenance and building services within a client focused environment, including day‑to‑day management knowledge and tactical and strategic planning
- Significant programme and project management experience
