We are seeking a Team Leader – Visitor Services to provide leadership and operational oversight for a hybrid service within an Acute NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to bring together Reception Services, Car Parking, General Office, and Helpdesk functions into one cohesive, high‑performing team.

What you’ll do

  • Lead, train, and motivate a multidisciplinary team covering reception, parking, and general office services.
  • Oversee front‑of‑house operations, ensuring every visitor receives a professional and welcoming experience.
  • Supervise car parking operations, including attendants, patrols, and PCN processes.
  • Manage cash handling, reimbursements, and financial governance in line with NHS and Sodexo procedures.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and data transparency to the Trust.
  • Monitor SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure service excellence.
  • Support and develop staff through appraisals, training, and regular communication.
  • Promote a Zero‑Harm mindset, ensuring health and safety compliance at all times.

Essential qualifications

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role within a customer‑service or facilities‑management environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of cash handling, confidentiality, and administrative processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Confidence working with reporting tools, SLAs, and performance metrics.

Desirable qualifications

  • Experience working within the NHS or healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of parking management systems, access control, and PCN processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting platforms.
