Hours: 40 hours per week
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7, 06:15-14:15 and 11:45-19:45
Full Time Contract with Overtime opportunities. Close to the central town, free meals on duty, free car parking on site, uniforms provided and changing rooms available.
What you’ll do:
- Plan all operations & training for the production team.
- Direct the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foods.
- Plan and price menu items, order supplies, and keep records and accounts.
- Work on the range with the kitchen team to train, guide & develop.
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations.
- Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard.
What you bring:
- Food and Hygiene and Health and Safety Certificates.
- Experience in menu planning and production.
- Experience in or exposure to bulk cooking.
- Good knowledge of pastry work.
- Hold basic food handling skills certification.
- Level 2 Food safety Certificate – desirable.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in hands on cooking.
- Training on Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety will be ongoing throughout the year.
