Job Description

Healthy outcomes start with positive patient experiences. We are looking for a dedicated Store Personnel to support the catering store activities, ensuring all designated areas are maintained clean and hygienic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in receipt of all goods received, checking quality and quantity
  • Ensure all delivery notes are processed promptly in accordance with procedures
  • Maintain delivery schedules to all areas, including patient meals to outer buildings
  • Place orders with approved suppliers
  • Ensure stock levels are controlled and rotation procedures are maintained
  • Maintain standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the storeroom

Qualifications & Skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Average level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic food hygiene
  • PC skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Physically able to undertake manual work i.e. lifting and moving stores, handling equipment, and walking around the site

Working Hours & Salary

37.5 hours per week, any 5 days out of 7. Shift times between 06:00 and 21:00. £10.45 – £12.60 per hour. 20 days holiday per year + bank holidays.
