What You'll Do:
- Assist with planned preventative and reactive maintenance across BMS systems, controls, panels, and associated plant equipment.
- Learn to diagnose faults on building systems, including HVAC, air handling units, boilers, chillers, pumps, and critical alarms.
- Support the maintenance and testing of electrical and mechanical assets such as LV systems, generators, ventilation, emergency lighting, and medical gas systems.
- Assist with BMS server checks, software monitoring, backups, alarm management, and network infrastructure including IP-based control systems.
- Work alongside engineers and specialist contractors to support testing, commissioning, and optimisation of building management systems and plant performance.
- Contribute to planned maintenance programmes, statutory compliance, and ensure all work meets HTM standards and health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CAFM and BMS systems, while supporting reporting and documentation requirements.
- Develop technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience, working towards Competent Person status and supporting a safe, efficient hospital environment.

- Confident and logical under pressure but must understand urgency and respond accordingly.
- Prepared to work overtime if required.
- Attend external and internal courses as required.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Reporting writing skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Maths & English grade C or above.
