We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to act as a strategic finance partner to the business. This role will drive commercial decision-making, profitability, and overall financial performance across a major corporate services contract. You will provide high-quality financial insight, support operational delivery, and ensure strong financial governance.
As a Commercial Finance Manager you'll:
- Partner with Operational Teams and Global Strategic Account teams to drive financial performance and improve revenue, margin, and KPIs
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring action plans are delivered
- Provide financial insight and challenge to Account Directors and senior site managers
- Build strong relationships with clients and support governance meetings and commercial discussions
- Lead critical elements of the month-end process, ensuring accurate reporting, invoicing, and variance analysis
- Deliver clear monthly performance commentary across sites and service lines
- Support financial performance improvement initiatives, including growth and trading protection plans
- Track client spend, savings performance, and contract improvement activity
- Maintain effective financial controls, processes, and reconciliations
- Support and train operational teams on financial matters
What we're looking for:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years' proven finance experience
- Strong commercial finance and business partnering background
- Excellent financial modelling, analysis, and reporting skills
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
