Safety Documentation & Training Coordinator

Supporting safe, compliant, and well-managed operations. Sodexo is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused individual to support the management of health & safety training, compliance documentation, and risk assessment processes.

The Role

You will ensure all training records and safety documentation are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready, while supporting managers in maintaining compliance and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training & Compliance
    • Maintain training trackers and compliance databases
    • Monitor mandatory training, including SSW and refresher schedules
    • Issue reminders and coordinate training sessions
    • Support onboarding and produce compliance reports
  • Documentation
    • Maintain and update health & safety records and systems
    • Support document control, reviews, and audits
  • Risk Assessments
    • Administer and track risk assessments and SSW documentation
    • Monitor review dates and follow up on actions
    • Support incident documentation where required
  • Support & Communication
    • Act as a point of contact for queries
    • Work with managers to ensure compliance
    • Promote a positive health & safety culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in H&S administration or compliance support
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Experience with training trackers or databases
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of SSW and risk assessments
  • Facilities or operational environment experience
  • IOSH/NEBOSH (or similar)
