About the Role
Sodexo is recruiting a Night Cleaner to support cleaning operations within the GMP (manufacturing) areas at the Mars Wrigley site in Slough. This role plays a key part in maintaining strict hygiene, safety, and compliance standards to support food manufacturing operations. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures accurately, and a commitment to working safely in a regulated environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of cleaning across assigned factory and corridor areas, following GMP standards, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Complete all required cleaning checklists accurately and ensure tasks are signed off as required.
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely, including scrubber dryers, following training and instructions.
- Carry out routine checks on cleaning equipment and report any faults or defects to the supervisor.
- Follow COSHH, food safety, health & safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Report hazards, near misses, and safety observations promptly.
- Work safely alongside Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) operating during night shifts.
- Work effectively as part of the wider cleaning and facilities team and liaise with site stakeholders as required.
- Attend all mandatory and site-specific training sessions.

- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work to strict hygiene and GMP standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- A reliable, proactive approach and good work ethic.
- Comfortable working independently during night shifts.
- Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
- Willingness to wear PPE and follow site-specific dress codes.
