Factory Cleaning Operative in Slough

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across your allocated areas
• Follow relevant work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complete required cleaning checklists and ensure they are signed off
• Carry out regular checks of cleaning equipment and machinery
• Report any equipment faults or defects to your Supervisor
• Follow all GMP, hygiene, food safety and Health & Safety requirements
• Report hazards or potential risks to your Supervisor
• Follow site procedures and stringent GMP requirements
• Work effectively with Mars associates, colleagues, supervisors and suppliers
• Communicate regularly with other members of the cleaning team and site colleagues
• Attend training sessions and develop your knowledge and skills
• Support the wider Sodexo Facilities Management team with a proactive, can-do approach
• Wear the required PPE and follow all relevant working instructions
• Work towards agreed targets and maintain required standards
• Comply with company, client and statutory requirements; Working to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and site procedures, you'll play an important role in ensuring the factory environment remains clean, safe and compliant. You'll need a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach and a strong can-do attitude. Full training will be provided to make sure you're confident with the procedures, equipment and responsibilities of the role., eye for detail
• Good communication skills
• Experience within a customer service or customer-facing environment
• The ability to work to strict timelines and follow detailed procedures
• A willingness to work in isolated areas where required
• The ability to follow stringent GMP dress codes and PPE requirements
