At Sodexo, we are looking for a reliable and proactive Evening Supervisor to support evening operations at the Mars Wrigley site. This is a hands-on role, responsible for supervising teams, maintaining high standards, and ensuring a safe, compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support evening teams to ensure shifts run smoothly and tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Allocate work, monitor attendance and break times, and ensure schedules and timesheets are completed accurately.
- Maintain excellent cleaning, hygiene, and GMP/GHP standards through regular checks and inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements, including COSHH, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
- Complete required paperwork such as schedules, accident reports, return-to-work interviews, and safety documentation.
- Manage performance through coaching, training, and support, including new starter inductions and probation reviews.
- Ensure all equipment is safe, clean, stored correctly, and ready for use.
- Act as a point of contact during evening hours and respond to reactive or emergency tasks when required.
- Support audits and liaise with clients and management as needed.
- Previous supervisory experience within cleaning, facilities, or a customer-facing environment.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage people effectively.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with high attention to detail.
- Reliable, professional, and able to lead by example.
