About the Role
We are seeking a driven and forward‑thinking Social Impact Manager to join our Government & Energy team, supporting high‑profile client contracts across the Agencies and Energy sub‑segments. In this role, you will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to shape, deliver, and measure meaningful social impact outcomes. You will play a key part in aligning operational delivery with corporate ESG strategies, government policy, and statutory requirements, ensuring we deliver measurable value for communities, clients, and society. You will also support innovation, behavioural change initiatives, and the ongoing development of our Social Impact Reporting Platform (SIRP) in partnership with our technology provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver Social Impact plans across client contracts
- Monitor, report, and ensure compliance with contractual social value obligations
- Lead the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual Social Impact reports
- Manage and interpret complex social impact data to produce clear, actionable insights
- Calculate and apply Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodologies
- Support mobilisation of new contracts, embedding the Social Impact Reporting Platform (SIRP)
- Drive continuous improvement in social value delivery across the business
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, charities, and community partners
- Support innovation aligned to People, Planet, Partners, and Place impact pathways
- Deliver training and guidance to operational teams
- Represent the organisation in client and stakeholder meetings as a subject matter expert
About You
We’re looking for someone with strong analytical ability, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering measurable social value.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in social impact, ESG, business coordination, or related role
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g. Social Value Act)
- Experience producing reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Confident using MS 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with Social Return on Investment (SROI) and National TOMs
- Familiarity with PPN 002 guidance
- Experience working with charities or third sector organisations
- Background in Facilities Management or large contract environments
