About the Role
We're looking for a professional and customer-focused Security Relief Officer to join our team at BNP Paribas in London. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Working across multiple security positions within the building and supporting other London sites when required, you'll play a vital role in protecting our people, premises, assets and reputation while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Whether you're welcoming visitors at Reception, carrying out building patrols, managing access control or responding to incidents, you'll be part of a highly professional team committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a professional and welcoming Front of House security presence.
- Monitoring access to the building for employees, contractors and visitors.
- Managing vehicle entry points and deliveries.
- Issuing and controlling temporary access passes.
- Conducting internal and external security patrols.
- Monitoring and responding to security email enquiries.
- Carrying out reception and administrative duties.
- Acting as a first responder to security, fire and first aid incidents.
- Reporting and escalating security concerns appropriately.
- Supporting security operations across other London locations when required.
- Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is professional, approachable and confident working in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- A current First Aid at Work qualification (essential).
- Previous experience within corporate security or a customer-facing security role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using electronic access control systems.
- The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- A flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple locations and security posts.
- A valid SIA CCTV Licence would be advantageous.
