Security Officer – Dublin 1 – Full time

What you\'ll do:
- Remain alert and vigilant for intruders.
- Respond to any calls for assistance and co‑ordinate any incident with relevant shift manager or responsible person(s) (includes contacting the emergency services via ADT).
- Act as site key holder.
- Patrol the premises to prevent or detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Document all incidents and occurrences in the Daily Occurrence Book.
- Provide written reports and witness statements to the Police if required.
- Attend Magistrate or Crown court to give evidence if required.
- Enforce Sodexo and client policies and procedures.
- Monitor the CCTV system, access control system and fire alarm system.
- Conduct staff and vehicle searches where required.
- Control access and egress to site for both vehicles and pedestrians.
- Ensure vehicles are correctly parked throughout the site.
- Support any incident involving (or possibility of) violence and/or aggression.
What you\'ll bring:
- A valid and in‑date SIA Licence.
- Proven experience as a corporate security officer or similar positions.
- An eye for detail, with strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
- An understanding of security practices and processes.
