We're seeking an experienced and proactive FM Communications Lead to drive clear, consistent, and engaging communication across FM system and project initiatives. In this role, you'll shape communication strategies, support project delivery teams, and ensure stakeholders at all levels understand key updates, changes, and benefits related to FM and CAFM programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead communication planning and delivery for FM and CAFM-related projects, ensuring messaging is clear, timely, and aligned with project objectives.
- Work closely with the FMi Leadership Team to ensure communication around deployments, roadmaps, and system changes is consistent and accessible.
- Develop communication materials including project updates, stakeholder briefings, newsletters, presentations, FAQs, and user-facing content.
- Support change management activities by creating communication plans that help users understand system changes, benefits, and impacts.
- Act as the central point of contact for FM project communications, ensuring alignment across DELIVERY, Deployment, Training, and Operational teams.
- Coordinate communication timelines to support project milestones, go-live activities, and mobilisation phases.
- Manage escalations related to communication gaps or misunderstandings, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and effectively.
- Maintain communication channels and ensure information is shared consistently across teams and segments.
- Support the creation and maintenance of knowledge-base content, user guides, and internal communication resources.
- Monitor communication effectiveness through feedback, engagement metrics, and stakeholder input, using insights to improve future communication strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong background in communications, ideally within FM, CAFM, or technology-driven project environments.
- Skilled in developing communication strategies for complex or technical projects.
- Experience supporting change management and translating technical information into clear, user-friendly messaging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify communication gaps and propose effective solutions.
- Adaptable and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment, working independently when required.
- Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and a passion for improving communication processes.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- High attention to detail with a structured, organised approach to managing multiple communication streams.
- Experience supporting or coordinating FM system, deployment, or mobilisation projects is highly desirable.
