We’relooking for a reliable and hardworking Weekend Cleaner to join our team at aMinistry of Justice site in Leamington Spa. If you take pride in your work,enjoy keeping spaces clean, safe and welcoming, and are looking for a role thatfits around your weekday commitments, this could be the perfect opportunity foryou!
You’llplay an important part in maintaining a clean, hygienic and professionalenvironment, helping to ensure the site is a safe and pleasant place foreveryone.
What you’ll do:
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks across the site, including kitchens, meeting rooms, toilets and offices, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, replenishing essential supplies such as toilet roll, hand soap, sanitiser and paper towels.
- Follow all Sodexo policies and procedures, including infection control, site security and COSHH regulations, and complete any required training.
- Work safely at all times by wearing the correct PPE and following health and safety procedures.
- Report any safety concerns, faulty equipment or maintenance issues to your Line Manager promptly.
- Take responsibility for your allocated cleaning areas while remaining flexible to support other floors and provide holiday and absence cover when required.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate office environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to work independently using your own initiative while also working well as part of a team, with good attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- An understanding of the importance of data protection and confidentiality, with a willingness to undertake any additional training required, including first aid and security awareness.
- A willingness to complete the required security checks, including Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks, as required by our client.
