What You'll Do:

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of our busy retail offer, ensuring a safe, efficient and customer-focused service.
  • Inspire, coach and develop your team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
  • Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, promotions, product placement and commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Manage stock control processes, minimise waste and maintain excellent product availability.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, compliance and Health & Safety are consistently achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and customers across the hospital community.
  • Support innovation, continuous improvement and the development of new retail offers that enhance the customer experience.

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience managing a busy retail, hospitality or food service operation.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • A strong commercial mindset with experience delivering sales and operational targets.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing stock, controlling costs and reducing waste.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and Health & Safety standards, or a willingness to develop this expertise.
