£16 per hour (mileage expenses: first 10,000 miles per mile 0.45pence, after it will be 0.25pence per mile)

Retention BONUS for all attached mobile roles – £200 on successful completion of 12 week probation, further £300 after 52 weeks complete employment in role.
Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
As a Relief Catering Support for Sodexo covering North London (Silvertown/Hadley/Enfield/Pinewood), you’ll play a key role supporting multiple busy school kitchens with food preparation, cooking and service delivery. This is a hands‑on and varied role where no two days are the same, providing additional operational support to kitchen teams across several school sites. You’ll work closely with kitchen teams to provide additional operational support where needed, helping deliver high-quality meals and excellent service to pupils and staff alike. Best of all, you’ll work sociable hours with public holidays off… including Christmas!
What you do:
- Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
- Provide additional kitchen support across multiple school sites when required.
- Assist kitchen teams with food preparation, cooking, service and daily operations.
- Help maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and customer service.
- Keep kitchen and serving areas clean, organised and hygienic at all times.
- Support the loading and unloading of deliveries and stock.
- Follow all food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Work collaboratively with different teams and adapt quickly to different environments.
- Support the wider catering operation to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.
