Job Introduction: We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to lead the implementation of digital systems supporting a major PFI expiry programme. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that asset information, handback compliance, and data assurance requirements are met through the effective deployment and integration of Activeplan and related systems. Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will support the introduction of additional digital tools as the contract progresses toward expiry, helping to protect contract value and support retention. You will ensure that asset data is accurately structured, validated, and accessible, enabling informed decision-making and providing assurance that contractual standards are consistently achieved during this crucial transition period.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and adoption of Activeplan as the core asset information system supporting PFI expiry.
- Manage the migration, validation, and reconciliation of data from existing CAFM and asset systems.
- Ensure digital systems support PFI handback compliance, including asset verification, condition surveys, and supporting evidence.
- Work closely with NHS Trusts, PFI management companies, FM teams, and external consultants to align data standards and system use.
- Establish and maintain robust information governance, including data ownership, version control, and audit trails.
- Deliver training, guidance, and ongoing support to operational teams to ensure effective system use and data integrity.
- Develop dashboards and performance reports to track PFI expiry progress, compliance status, and handback readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in digital workflows, system integration, and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience implementing digital asset management or CAFM systems within estates or FM environments.
- Strong knowledge of Activeplan or equivalent asset information management platforms (desirable).
- Good understanding of PFI contracts, expiry processes, and NHS estates information standards.
- Excellent data management, analytical, and project delivery skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working with third-party software vendors.
- Degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, Agile) desirable.
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation and flexible, dynamic work environment.
- Full training and full protective uniform supplied.
- Access to a free health and wellbeing app, Employee Assistance Programme, and 24-hour virtual GP.
- Rewards for mental health, well-being, and financial support through the Salary Finance Platform.
- Sodexo Discounts Scheme and prepayment cashback card.
- Retirement Plan, Death-in-Service benefit, and opportunities for career progression and learning.
- Cycle to Work Scheme and volunteering opportunities to support community causes.
