Production Cleaning Operative – GMP Hygiene Cleaner (Overhead Cleaning)
Location: Catalent Pharma Solutions, Franklands Road, Swindon, SN5 8RU
Contract: Full-time
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 3 days on / 3 days off
Pay: £12.21 per hour

Support hygiene and sanitation operations at Catalent Pharma Solutions in Swindon. This role focuses on overhead and high-level cleaning within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and site procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out overhead and high-level cleaning tasks in line with GMP requirements and site cleaning schedules.
- Clean ceilings, pipework, ventilation systems, beams, and other elevated surfaces using approved methods and equipment.
- Follow all GMP, hygiene, health & safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and access systems safely and in accordance with training.
- Complete cleaning documentation accurately where required.
- Work independently and as part of a hygiene team to meet operational demands.
- Report any hazards, defects, or non-compliances to the supervisor promptly.

- Cleaning experience is essential, preferably within office environments, industrial sites, or pharmaceutical facilities.
- Experience in overhead or high-level cleaning is highly desirable.
- Ability to work safely at height (training and equipment provided where required).
- Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to follow strict procedures.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
