We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at HM Naval Base, Portsmouth PO1 4QT. As a Cleaning Operative with Sodexo, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times. This is an essential role that requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning duties across the designated area, including offices, corridors, washrooms, kitchens, and other communal spaces.
- Ensure cleaning standards are maintained and meet client expectations.
- Follow the cleaning schedule to ensure all areas are attended to promptly.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain health and safety standards in line with company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
Qualifications:
- A strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Eligibility:
Due to security requirements you must have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 3 years to apply for this position.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 14:00. However, you may be required to work hours outside of these according to business needs, including evening and weekends. 30 hours per week.
Compensation:
£12.21 per hour.
