As a Production Area Medium Level Cleaner with Sodexo at Crown, you'll play a key role in maintaining hygienically clean production areas to support food safety standards and prevent contamination within the manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out high and low-level cleaning of machinery, mezzanine floors, pipes, cable tracks, grills, and production areas.
  • Remove dust, debris, grease, and dirt in line with cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.
  • Use specialist cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Complete cleaning tasks efficiently whilst minimising disruption to site operations.
  • Climb fixed ladders and use appropriate access equipment safely where required.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, equipment faults, oil leaks, or maintenance issues.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and stores are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Comply with HACCP, COSHH, Health & Safety, hygiene, and site security procedures at all times.
  • Support a safe and clean working environment for all site employees and visitors.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous cleaning experience within industrial, manufacturing, or production environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, COSHH, and safe working practices.
  • Ability to work safely at medium/high levels using ladders and access equipment.
  • Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to high cleaning standards.
  • Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
