As a Handyperson with Sodexo at Crown, you'll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the site through general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities.
What you'll do:
- Carry out minor building repairs and low-level maintenance tasks safely and effectively
- Perform repair work on doors, furniture, fixtures, appliances, and general site fabric
- Complete painting, janitorial, and preventative maintenance duties in line with the maintenance schedule
- Replace light bulbs and support with basic plumbing and leakage issues
- Conduct outdoor maintenance including signage repairs and site sweeping
- Transport and separate waste materials into designated recycling and waste collection areas
- Complete weekly water temperature checks in line with legionella compliance procedures
- Use chemicals, cleaning products, and power equipment safely and correctly
- Identify maintenance or safety issues and escalate where specialist support is required
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed
- Work closely with site teams and client representatives to support business priorities
What you'll bring:
- Experience carrying out general maintenance and repair work
- Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
- Understanding of health & safety procedures, including COSHH and safe working practices
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to respond to site requests professionally
- Physically capable of carrying out manual and maintenance-based tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to undertake role-specific training as required
