As a Cleaner at Crown, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic production environment and surrounding areas. Your work will help support food safety standards and create a safe workplace for everyone on site. This role focuses on cleaning the production environment and surrounding areas, including floors, barriers, walkways, handrails and other production area surfaces. The role also includes medium-level cleaning of areas that can be safely accessed using appropriate ladders or access equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out high and low-level cleaning of machinery, mezzanine floors, pipes, cable tracks, grills, and production areas
- Remove dust, debris, grease, and dirt in line with cleaning schedules and hygiene standards
- Use specialist cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently whilst minimising disruption to site operations
- Climb fixed ladders and use appropriate access equipment safely where required
- Identify and report safety concerns, equipment faults, oil leaks, or maintenance issues
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and stores are maintained in a clean and safe condition
- Comply with HACCP, COSHH, Health & Safety, hygiene, and site security procedures at all times
- Support a safe and clean working environment for all site employees and visitors
What you’ll bring:
- Previous cleaning experience within industrial, manufacturing, or production environments is desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, COSHH, and safe working practices
- Ability to work safely at medium/high levels using ladders and access equipment
- Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- A positive and proactive attitude with a commitment to high cleaning standards
- Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role
