Painter and Decorator
Join the Sodexo team as a Painter and Decorator at HMP Forest Bank. This role involves maintaining and improving the prison\’s infrastructure, ensuring all decorating is carried out safely, on time, and in compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out all reactive decorating and planned decorating projects as directed to support the establishment.
- Ensure all works are undertaken safely in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
- Adhere to tool management procedures outlined in the Local Security Strategy.
- Undertake project work as directed by the Technical Facilities Manager.
- Supervise prisoner working parties where applicable.
- Deliver all work to relevant trade standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Painting and decorating experience.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Positive approach to health and safety.
- Proactive, systematic approach to tasks.
- Ability to work to time schedules and meet deadlines.
- Team player.
- Have a disability defined by the Equality Act 2010.
