We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nottingham Meadow Grove, Nottingham, England, NG2 3GS. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, contributing directly to the health, hygiene, and comfort of residents and staff. The role supports individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community.

What you’ll do:

  • Focus on the details and complete scheduled cleaning tasks.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning of specific areas as instructed by your supervisor.
  • Ensure all areas—including kitchens, toilets, and communal spaces—are cleaned and presentable.
  • Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps.
  • Work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards, and help maintain the cleanliness of their areas.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, or willingness to be trained in cleaning solutions and health‑safety procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.
