As a Weekend Catering Supervisor with Sodexo at Bassetlaw Hospital, you will take the lead in delivering high-quality catering services during our busiest and most rewarding days - Saturday and Sunday only. You will be an inspiring presence on site, motivating your team in a fast-paced healthcare environment while keeping standards high and service running smoothly. What you will do:
- Assist in the management of a high quality, timely, responsive, cost-effective and pro-active patient dining service to meet the needs of the wards and departments
- Provide direction, guidance and support to ensure the necessary duties are carried out to maintain an efficient service within the hospital and associated areas
- Be responsive to service needs as they arise and to constantly seek to improve the productivity and quality of the service
- All work must be undertaken in line with health, safety, security and Company and Trust policies and procedures
- Undertake a number of other support services to assist the functioning of the Trust operations
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, COSHH, and HACCP
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is required, along with a professional attitude, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. A positive, approachable manner with excellent communication across teams, strong IT and administrative skills, and a proactive mindset with a willingness to grow and learn are essential.
