We’re looking for a Stadium Assistant Catering Manager to support the delivery of high‑quality retail catering operations at one of the UK’s most iconic football venues. Reporting to the Head of Stadium Catering, you will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day management of stadium catering operations across a large and diverse estate of retail units. This is a fast‑paced, high‑profile role where no two days are the same, whether it’s delivering exceptional matchday service, driving commercial performance, or leading teams to success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the delivery of safe, smooth and high‑quality catering operations across 60+ units, ensuring matchday and event service runs effectively from preparation through to clear‑down
  • Ensure all food safety, health & safety and compliance standards are consistently met across all areas
  • Assist in controlling costs across labour, stock and consumables, supporting budgets, forecasting and stock management processes
  • Use EPOS data and reporting to identify opportunities to drive sales, improve performance and maximise profitability
  • Support the recruitment, training and development of catering teams, leading by example to promote a high‑performance culture
  • Assist with rota planning, labour management and workforce productivity to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards, responding to feedback and supporting innovation in menus, retail offers and seasonal concepts
  • Ensure accurate record keeping, audits and adherence to all operational procedures, supporting audit readiness and maintaining 5‑star hygiene and safety standards

What You Bring:

  • Essential
  • Experience in retail catering or high‑volume hospitality environments
  • Proven ability to manage teams and deliver operational service standards
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to step up and lead when required
  • Desirable
  • Experience in a stadium, arena or large‑scale event environment
  • Food Safety Level 3 (CIEH or equivalent)
  • IOSH Managing Safely
