Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas during matchdays and events
  • Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff by keeping workstations clean, organised, and fully stocked
  • Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling and rubbish areas are kept tidy and managed safely
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, washing, and basic ingredient prep when required
  • Ensure floors, surfaces, and storage areas are cleaned regularly to maintain food safety standards
  • Support delivery handling, stock rotation, and safe storage of kitchen supplies
  • Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen procedures at all times
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including deep cleaning and equipment checks
  • Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults to supervisors immediately
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced stadium catering environment
  • Assist other kitchen team members as needed to ensure overall service efficiency
  • Maintain a professional attitude and strong teamwork approach throughout all shifts

  • Good awareness of hygiene standards and willingness to maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Comfortable performing repetitive but essential tasks to support kitchen operations
  • Calm, focused, and organised in busy and demanding conditions
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from kitchen supervisors and chefs
  • Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety (or willingness to learn)
  • Good communication skills and ability to respond quickly to instructions
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing matchday requirements and priorities
  • Positive attitude and professional approach in a busy stadium environment
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a wider catering team
