Responsibilities
- Collect used glasses, cups, bottles, and empty service items from areas during matchdays and events
- Clear tables, ledges, and designated collection points efficiently to support smooth stadium operations
- Transport glassware safely to designated wash‑up or return areas using trays, racks, or trolleys
- Assist with basic cleaning of public areas, including wiping surfaces and maintaining tidy service spaces
- Support bar and catering teams by ensuring sufficient clean glassware is available when required
- Monitor busy areas to prevent build‑up of used items and maintain a clean environment for guests
- Follow all health & safety procedures, including safe manual handling and correct use of equipment
- Handle glassware carefully to prevent breakages and ensure guest and staff safety
- Report any hazards, spillages, or safety concerns to supervisors or relevant teams immediately
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling in line with stadium procedures
- Work efficiently across large and crowded areas in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
- Provide polite and professional interaction with guests when clearing items or moving through crowds
- Support opening and closing duties, including clearing and resetting service areas
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards throughout the stadium environment
- Work collaboratively with bar, catering, and cleaning teams to ensure smooth matchday operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, cleaning, or events environments preferred but not essential
- Able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume stadium environment
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and large‑scale events
- Strong work ethic with a proactive and can‑do attitude
- Good awareness of health & safety, especially around manual handling and glassware
- Able to work well as part of a team and support multiple departments when required
- Calm and composed when working in crowded, busy environments
- Good communication skills and able to follow instructions from supervisors
- Friendly and professional when interacting with guests while working in public areas
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order
- Able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining consistency and pace
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a busy stadium operation
