Cleaner in Motherwell

• 24.5 hours per week
• Monday to Saturday
• 8 -month fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover)
• £13.45 per hour

Sodexo is looking for a Part-Time Cleaner on a fixed term contract to join our team at Motherwell Fire Station.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position where we can offer flexibility around the hours you work. The role is Monday to Saturday, but we understand that everyone has different commitments, so we're happy to discuss working hours that suit you.

What you'll do:

• Clean and maintain all designated areas to the required standards, completing daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following COSHH, health and safety guidelines and relevant training.
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment, including using appropriate safety signage and reporting any hazards or faulty equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting low stock, damage or maintenance issues to the Line Manager.
• Work as part of the team, attending required training, providing cover when needed and supporting with reasonable management requests or incidents.

What you bring:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and chemicals is an advantage.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Methodical and organised approach, with strong attention to detail.
