15 hours per week, 4pm-6pm at Nelson and 6pm-7pm at Mowlam (flexible) at £12.21 per hour. Must be a driver and hold a full clean driving licence. Car parking, van and fuel card provided.
Join Sodexo as a Mobile Cleaner, supporting Nelson House and Mowlam House. In this vital role, you will travel between different sites, delivering high-quality cleaning services to help maintain safe, clean, and welcoming environments. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties across various locations, working closely with site staff and your wider team. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the residents and staff at each site.
Approved Premises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community. This role will give you insight into working in a residential setting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work that supports positive change.
What you’ll do:
- Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks across various sites.
- Travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle and fuel card.
- Manage your own schedule and take ownership of your tasks, ensuring everything is completed within the required timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients and other departments.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas, including offices, kitchens, toilets and communal spaces.
- Restock essential supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap and sanitiser.
- Be a proactive advocate for health and safety procedures at all times.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable, along with knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Great communication and customer-service skills.
- The ability to work efficiently, adapt quickly and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to follow direction when needed.
