Play your part in making rewarding occasions special for our Armed Forces Personnel. There will be occasional travel to other locations to provide event support. After training including PASMA, MUTA, and Cat Scanning the rate will rise to £14.21 Per Hour.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Erecting and dismantling marquess for up to 500 people
- Erect and dismantle tower platforms
- Porterage duties including assisting with office moves, moving filing cabinets, lockers etc.
- Occasionally working in the waste area moving pallets using a Forklift Truck
- Scan ground areas for hazards which could be caused during the marquee and seating area siting
- Full UK Driving License
- Forklift experience is preferred, but training will be given if you do not hold certifications
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Be willing to start early/finish late and work off site
- Willing to undergo relevant training
- Willing to use tools
- Due to security requirements, you must have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 3 years to apply for this position
30 hours per week, 4 days out of 7 per week. £12.71 rising to £14.21 after training including PASMA, Marquee Erection Training, and Cat Scanning.
