Join our team as a Weekend Duty Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hospital's Soft FM services during weekend shifts. In this dynamic leadership position, you will oversee the delivery of high standard facilities management services, swiftly addressing any issues that arise to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Trust and Sodexo weekend duty managers, ensuring seamless service delivery across all Soft FM service lines.
- Lead, review, and resolve operational service issues promptly, adhering to Sodexo and Trust policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular weekend handover meetings with operational leads, ensuring sufficient resource allocation and service knowledge transfer.
- Build strong relationships with the Trust, Sodexo management, and operational teams to deliver services that meet contractual and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies across hospital operations, including agency staff, and promote a culture of safety and high standards.
- Manage and develop the weekend workforce, including performance reviews, communication of shared goals, and fostering a high performance environment.
- Oversee third party contractors and agency staff to ensure quality, value for money, and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Contribute to strategic site improvements, implementing new policies, sharing best practices, and driving continuous service excellence.
What You Bring:
- Strong operational background within a Soft FM Environment, preferably in a Healthcare setting.
- An experienced leader and developer of teams, who is effective directing others.
- Knowledge of Food, Domestic and Logistic service delivery, although all service not essential.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
- Willingness to get involved and offer a flexible approach to working.
- Ability to work well under pressure and self motivate.
