As a Picking and Packing Supervisor at Sodexo, based at Wythenshawe Hospital, you will lead the coordination of the picking and packing team in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will be an inspiring leader, capable of motivating your team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a sharp eye for detail. With strong communication and organisational skills, you will help us put people at the heart of everything we do β delivering outstanding service to patients, staff, and visitors alike.
What youβll do:
- Supervise Picking and Packing Service Assistants, ensuring effective delegation, performance, and staff support.
- Oversee ward food service delivery, ensuring compliance with procedures, hygiene standards, and patient safety.
- Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards through audits, cleaning schedules, and corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, COSHH, and quality control regulations.
- Monitor food regeneration processes, including temperature checks and equipment cleanliness.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and receipt of supplies in line with menu cycles and budget limits.
- Train, brief, and support staff, including emergency procedures, and attend relevant meetings.
- Act as a working supervisor, carrying out picking and packing duties while reporting faults, incidents, and repairs.
